i had a mani pedi in a nearby shop where it cost less than 200bucks to have both.. but inclusive of tips it cost 200 na.. i had mine done thursday night.. even with the nicks and the slowness of their manicurist i didnt complained..
well a weekend trip after.. my manicure and pedicure were "natutuklap" na.. so my mom told me to go back and ask them to either repaint the ruined ones or ask them to take the color off..
so i went to the shop and asked if they could do it over.. since they were the ones who didnt do a good job.. my manicure usually last 1 week and pedicure usually last a month when im really lazy to take them off..
they asked for a peso para daw di malasin yung day coz it was monday morning and i was the first one in.. since i didnt brought money with me i asked my sis to send someone to bring me a peso.. and i gave it to them..
well my question is this.. was i being a maldita to give them a peso? hehe i know i know.. i understand where my mom and grandma and sister and brother and dad were coming from.. if they asked me for a peso it meant give them a tip.. well in my opinion.. i didnt owe them a dime and if they wanted a ten they should have said so..
well after a whole afternoon.. another fingertip mani was natanggal.. so i stand by my 1 peso.. and should have not even gave a peso to them..
so am i being maldita? haha

oops, i think i'm being dense because i thought the peso is just a peso and not meant as a tip.
anyhow, I think you have the right to get them redone without giving them anything in return. I wouldn't give them tip either...
